MFBA Road America Rental April 18 & 19 2009

Registration is Open!!!

Fellow Motorsport Enthusiast,

The Midwest F-Body Association has opened registration for its spring, ‘09 event. The dates will be April 18 & 19, 2009. We are still working on updating the website so please print the attached registration form and Liability waiver and mail it to the address below. You can pay by Check or Paypal. The email address for Paypal payments is mfba@fbody.us and for Checks please make them out to Midwest F-body Association.

For those who are familiar with our event already, there will be some changes made regarding registration procedures.

Changes Noted Below:

Payment Cost:

Date Range_______________Weekend________1 Day
Before Jan 15 ____________ $395 ___________$230
After Jan 16 to Mar 1_______ $445___________$255
Mar 2 to Event_____________$495___________$280

The Mailing Address has also Changed to the Following:

MFBA
Attn: Carmen Drays
4924 Fielding
Rockford, IL 61102

For our upcoming April, 2009 event we are urging that most payments and registration forms be submitted before January 15, 2009 to cover the cost of the deposit for the track rental. Most other aspects of the event itself will remain the same, however we are looking to add several popular vendors onsite that will be selling parts.

For those who are not familiar with our event, we are going into our 9th year running and offer the opportunity for the automotive enthusiast to drive their car on the famed Road America racetrack in Elkhart Lake, WI. We have 4 different run groups available so that whether you are a novice that has never driven on a track before, a seasoned race driver or somewhere in-between, you will be placed with drivers of similar experience. Our event caters to you getting effective track time in a controlled environment, and having fun while doing it. This is a 2 day non-timed, non-competitive event and instructors will be available to for coaching and ride-alongs.

Event alumni includes members from the SCCA, NASA, Midwest Council, Northwoods Region Shelby Club, Porsche Club of America, Badger Bimmers, American LeMans Series, and many other fine organizations.

For further event information or questions, please visit http://roadamerica.fbody.us or email us at roadamerica@fbody.us

Thank You,
Midwest F-body Association

Is this limited to Fbodys only? I assume not, but I want to make sure. I have a friend with a modified rice burner that would absolutely love to do this.

I will be sending my reg money to you before the end of this month.

Also, anyone who's done this in the past, are there any good hotels close by?

Any vehicle/make/model is welcome to participate.

Hotel wise, you have a lot to choose from. I think the Osthoff is a resort/condo type of place, and right next door to it are other hotels. Ill check the MFBA Road America website to see what lodging options are listed on there, if any.

Here's some lodging options for you that are nearby...

I don't know where the 'main' hotel is at this year, but primarily everyone is scattered all of the place.

As long as we have your registration in by the 15th(e mail wise) and your payment soon after, that would be fine.

Is this definitely happening on April 18-19? We are planning to attend but I did not see it on the calendar as an event?

Sounds like fun! I'm looking forward to seeing what my stock RS runs, or is it too slow to race? Lol. Hopefully I won't get run over by the LTX powered cars lol. Whoa, TT V6 Camaro? I'll be watching for that!

Don't forget to register and pay for a spot if your gonna run your car Mine won't be on the track (weather dependant too for if it's even driven up there in April and motor dependant..LOL)

But I will have it at some events over the summer.
